i put togeher this brand kit for my auntie jeannie, who lives back home in clinton, massachusetts. ever since i was little, my aunt has been the only person i have trusted to properly and professionally care for my hair. i wanted to create an updated and uniform rebrand for her company, hair matters. i wanted the branding to reflect the love, expertise, and attention to detail of the stylists working there, especially my aunt. 

my aunt cares about her customers and always goes above and beyond for others. i wanted her company's visual identity to match this. my goal for this rebrand was to have it feel elegent and high-quality, but still fun and artsy. to do this, i started by selecting fonts and creating a logo that is scalable, with colors that are bold, recognizable, and high contrast.
